Katy Beadle
Born in England, I have made my home in the United States for the past 24 years. I moved to Texas in 2001, and have been here ever since.
I have thirty years of experiance in the bookkeeping and finance industry. After moving from England, I found a full time job and worked my way through college. I graduated from San Jose State University in California, where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude. Shortly after graduating I started my own business helping others with their Accounting needs. I have worked with numerous small businesses preparing their Financial Statements and Taxes, and helping them implement Accounting software. I have helped companies of many sizes, from one employee to eight hundred employees, and many industries, from Retail to Engineering, Auto Repair to Pest Control, Construction to Pet Care. I am a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the Quickbooks ProAdvisor Program.
In my spare time, I am an avid reader and I practice Hot Yoga. I earned a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and have studied Karate and Tai Chi. I enjoy getting out and walking in the local parks with my black labrador Musashi.
For those who are curious about the name Cat's Whiskers Consulting, I am the loving parent of five cats along with Musashi. They all want to be helpful and they have their whiskers in everything.
